First thing to do is plan your flight. With this, the earlier you plan and purchase your tickets, the better. You will be more likely to get the best deals on the tickets, as well as any other accommodations you might need at the other end such as hotels or rental cars. During peak flying times flights will book up quickly, as well as accommodations at your vacation site. If possible, look for a flight that leaves midday or in the evening and during the week.
